5.3 Connecting the ventilation pipe
Saw off the socket for the ventilation pipe (1) at the cut-
ting edge made.
Connect the ventilation pipe to the vent connection (1).
Connections and clamps should have sound-reducing
properties.
Route a separate ventilation pipe to above the roof in
accordance with EN 12056-4.

Connecting the pressure pipe

Fitting made of polymer
If necessary, install shut-off valve (1) (option).
Connect the pressure pipe (2) either vertically at the out-
let connection (3), or horizontally at the shut-off valve (1).
Fitting made of grey iron
Recommendation:
Pumping height > 5m and pumping capacity > 20m³/h
Install the fitting as illustrated; tighten all threaded fasten-
ers finger-tight initially.

Note the screw lengths!
Screws (7) = 40 mm
Screws (4) = 65 mm
4 threaded fasteners are used for each flange.
Tighten all threaded joints, starting from the top down.
Connect the pressure pipe (2) (flexible connection) to the
outlet connection (3).
