l) Switching the Display Format for the Date
For the date display, you can select between "day/month" and "month/day".
• If a time zone is shown ("ZONE" next to the time), change to the normal time display (e.g. 12:15:05) by briefly
pressing the "MODE" button several times.
• Keep the "MODE" (20) button pressed (about two seconds) until the language abbreviation is displayed instead
of the running seconds to the left of the time. Release the button.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button (20) several times until the date is shown on the top of the display with a flashing
"D" and a flashing "M".
• Select the desired display format with the buttons "" (17) and "" (19).
• Now press the "MODE" button (20) (only press button briefly each time) repeatedly until the normal time display
reappears (and no setting option flashes anymore).
m) Setting the Time and Date Manually
If no DCF reception is possible at the set-up location for the second receiver unit (e.g. in a basement), you can set
the time and date manually.
• First, switch off the DCF reception, see chapter 9 e) or 13. f).
• If a time zone is shown ("ZONE" next to the time), change to the normal time display (e.g. 12:15:05) by briefly
pressing the "MODE" button several times.
• Keep the "MODE" (20) button pressed (about two seconds) until the language abbreviation is displayed to the right
of the time instead of the running seconds. Release the button.
• Select the desired language for weekdays with the buttons "" (17) and "" (19).

• Now set the current year with the "" (17) and "" (19) buttons.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button (20); the month flashes.
• Set the current month with the "" (17) and "" (19) buttons.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button (20); the day flashes.
• Set the current day with the "" (17) and "" (19) buttons.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button; the display format for day/month flashes.
• Select the display format (day/month or month/day) with the "" (17) and "" (19) buttons.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button (20); the 12/24 hour display flashes.
• Use the "" (17) and "" (19) buttons to select the desired display (12h mode with AM/PM or 24h mode).
• Briefly press the "MODE" button (20); the hours flash.
• Set the hour with the "" (17) and "" (19) buttons.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button (20); the minutes flash.
• Set the minutes with the "" (17) and "" (19) buttons.
• Pressing the "MODE" button (20) again briefly completes the setting.
