18. Maintenance and Cleaning

Servicing or repair may only be carried out by a specialist/specialist workshop. There are no components on the inside
of the product that need maintenance by you, this is why you should never open it (apart from the described approach
to insert or change the batteries, in these instructions).
To clean the exterior of the weather station or the second receiver unit, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.

Do not press too hard in the display, as this may cause scratch marks or lead to faulty displays.
Dust can easily be removed with a long-hair, soft and clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Use a clean and soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water to remove dirt from the outdoor sensors.
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or other chemical solvents since this may damage the surface
of the housing or even impair operation.
Check the rain sensor collection container from time to time. In spite of the protective grille, small leaf or dirt particles
may clog the opening at the bottom of the collection container.
