4. Safety Information

In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions, the warranty/guarantee will expire. We do not assume
liability for any consequential damage.
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions.
In such cases the warranty/guarantee is voided.
Dear Customer: The following safety information is intended not only for the protection of the device but also for the protection of your health. Please read
the following items carefully:
• For safety reasons, any unauthorized conversions and/or modifications to the product are not permitted. Components may be damaged and thus impair the
function or safety of the device.
• The device may only be supplied with energy through the enclosed plug-in mains adapter or batteries/rechargeable batteries. Never try to operate the device
with any other power supply.
• As power source for the mains adapter, use a mains outlet (100-240 V/50/60 Hz) of the public mains only. Never try to operate the mains adapter with any
other voltage.
• The device must not be subjected to extreme temperatures, as they occur in parked cars in summer, for example, strong vibrations, high moisture such as
rain or steam or strong mechanical strain.
• Never place containers containing liquids, e.g. glasses, vases, etc. on the device or in its vicinity. Never pour out fluids above the device. If liquid enters the
device anyway, pull the mains plug from the socket at once and contact a specialist.
• Do not place any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on the device.
• We recommend operating the device at least 10 cm away from adjacent objects to warrant good ventilation. Do not cover the ventilation openings.
• Only operate the device in moderate climate, never in tropical climate.
