7.1 Removing the casing

In order to carry out the installation or the maintenance of the fan coil it is necessary to remove the casing. Remove the grilles by
lifting the access door on the left-hand side of the housing, sliding the grilles and removing them; when removing a grille, pay atten-
tion not to break the little feet underneath. At the same way, remove all the other grilles.
MODELS YLV-YLH
After having removed the grilles, remove the four fixing screws at the top of the unit (Fig. 3a). Rotate slightly the casing in order to
free it from the lower retairners (Fig. 3b) and move the casing away.
MODELS YLV/AF-YLH/AF-YLVR
After removing the grilles, remove the four fixing screws at the top of the unit (Fig. 3a). Loosen the fixing screws on the frontal air
intake panel and take it away, then remove the fixing screws at the bottom of the casing (Fig. 3c). Take the casing away horizon-
tally by rotating it slightly.
The casing has to be reinstalled before powering the unit. Repeat the above mentioned operations in the opposite way.

7.2 Mounting the fan coil

The positioning and the connection of the fan coil must be established from the designer of the system, who has to
assure the correct running of the unit by respecting the rules and the laws in use in the installation Country.
When mounting the fan coil on the wall or ceiling, use the mounting holes already present in the unit. These holes are located at
the sides of the back panel (position 21, Enclosures 1/A and 1/B).
The positions and distances must be respected for correct installation and working of each model; see encl. 2 of this manual.
A minimum distance of at least 85 mm must be left between the unit and the floor (in case of vertical installation), or between the
unit and the wall (in case of horizontal installation). AF models can be directly mounted on the floor or on the wall.
The installation of the fan coil must assure:
safe use and working: the unit has not to cause any damage or danger to persons, objects or animals;
a regular air circulation in the room;
the intake and the outlet of the air from the fan coil cannot be blocked in any way;
the respect of the minimum distances necessary for the installation and maintenance operations;
a minimum distance between the sides of the fan coil and possible adjacent objects of at least 200 mm.
