Even though the units have been properly protected to withstand adverse conditions, we recommend that they be kept under the
following ambient conditions if stored in the warehouse for long periods of time:
Temperature: min. –5 °C, max. 50 °C; relative humidity: less than 80%.
6 OPENING THE SHIPPING CARTON
When you open the shipping carton, check to make sure all the components are present and in good condition. Any damage
must be immediately communicated to the transport agent, and our service department must be notified immediately if any mate-
rial is missing.
6.1 Removing the packing
MODELS WITH CASING
Open the box at the bottom side, grasp the fan coil by the
edge of the casing together with the plastic bag and pull the
unit out of the box.
CONCEALED MODELS
Open the box at the top, grasp the fan coil by the flange on the
delivery outlet and pull the unit out.
It is advisable to keep the unit in the carton box prior to installation, to protect it from damages. The plastic bags can be
used to protect the inner frame from the moment it is installed until the mounting of the

Each operation for installation and/or maintenance must be executed by qualified personnel only, by respecting
the safety norms and the installation rules of the Country where the fan coil is installed.
YORK refuse every responsibility for any damages caused by incorrect installation or improper use of the fan coil
and its accessories.
In particular, when making connections, do not use hanging, non-standard connections or flexible tubes with
unsuitable connectors. Also, always use expansion bolts when mounting components on the wall or ceiling.
Before proceeding with any operation of installation and/or maintenan-
ce, make sure that the unit has been disconnected from the power
supply (Fig. 2).
