2.5. Checking the intake pressure
Forse cercavi: La pressione di'alimentazione si rileva con un manometro a liquido ( es. manometro ad
U, definizione minima 0,1 mbar ). The supply pressure is measured with a liquid gauge (eg. U gauge,
minimum definition 0.1 mbar). The supply pressure is measured directly at the pressure inlet on the gas
inlet ramp. To access the pressure inlet you must open the lower front panel by unscrewing the fixing
screws located on the sides. (See figure "Measuring the pressure of the intake gas").
Before connecting the gauge remove the retaining screw of the pressure inlet.
Connect the U gauge and with the appliance in operation measure the pressure.
The reading on the gauge should be in the range of allowable pressure shown in Table 6b "Intake pres-
sures" of the paragraph "Technical data".
If the value does not correspond, ask for assistance from the supplier or from the company that carried
out the installation.
When finished, tighten the screw that secures the pressure inlet.
Caution! The sealed adjusting screws, which are placed on the gas tap, must not be tampered with,
under penalty of immediate ineffectiveness of the guarantee.
2.6. Checking the primary air adjustment
The primary air is considered properly adjusted, if safety is guaranteed against the flame going out with
the cold burner and nozzle ignition by the hot burner.
The distance "H" (see figure "Primary air adjustment") recommended for primary air adjustment is
shown in Table 5 in "Technical data".
2.7. Testing and start-up
After completing the connection work you must make sure that the installation is performed correctly
and the appliance operates according to the instructions.
The following in particular has to be checked:
•
all the protective film has been removed from the outer surfaces;
•
the connections were done according to the instructions in this manual;
•
all the safety standards and requirements, laws and guidelines have been complied with;
•
the water and gas connections are tight.
Then you proceed with the powering on of the appliance, follow the instructions for operation and
check the following:
gradual ignition of the burner;
regularity of the flames;
safety of the flames, these points are to be checked at both maximum and minimum flowrate.
Check that the fume discharge is not blocked and that the combustion evacuation takes place freely.
2.8. Conversion to other types of gas
To convert to another type of gas you must replace the nozzles for the main burners and for the pilot
burner. (See table 5 and figure "Main burner").
All the nozzles necessary for the different types of gas are contained in a bag provided with the appli-
ance.
The supply pressure and the manual calibration of the minimum flowrate must also be checked. (See
table 4 - Calibration of minimum flowrate
