Attaching the guard cover:
5. Put the guard cover (9) onto the tool
such that the open side is facing back
towards the tool.
The teeth on the guard cover and on
the tool must mesh together. See detail
illustration
.
6. Push the guard cover (9) towards the
tool to turn it.

7. Fasten the wire ring (23) to secure the
guard cover using the groove (24).
8. Turn the protective hood (9) into the
working position. The closed side of
the protective hood must always face
the operator.
9. Readjust the position of the protective
hood if you ind during use that it does
not provide optimum protection.
Removing the guard cover:
10.Take off the guard cover (9) by remo-
ving the wire ring (23) with the help of
an object such as a small screwdriver.

cover (9) only after taking off the wire
ring (23) to the position shown in detail

Installing/changing disc
1. Press the spindle stop button (10).
2. Turn the mounting spindle (16) until the
spindle lock ixed the mounting spind-
le. Keep and continue to hold down
the spindle lock button (10)
3. Release the clamping nut (15) with the
chuck key (13). You can release the
spindle lock button (10).
4. Set the desired disc onto the moun-
ting lange (

If the rotary direction is in-
dicated on your disc, ensure
that it corresponds to the
rotary direction of the angle
grinder when mounting. This

Ensure that the lange (

5. Set the clamping nut (15) on the moun-
ting spindel (16) again. The lat side of
the clamping nut must face the attach-
ment tool if the thickness of the disc
receptor is < 5 mm.
If the thickness of the disc receptor is ≥
5 mm, turn the clamping nut.

6. Press the spindle stop button (10) and
turn the mounting spindle (16), until the
spindle toggle button holds the spind-
le lange in a ixed position. Pull the
clamping nut (15) tight again using the
chuck key (13).
You can let go of the spindle lock but-
ton (10).
Installing/changing the
wire brush
1. Press the spindle stop button (10).
2. Turn the mounting spindle (16) until the
spindle stop button holds the mounting
spindle in a ixed position. Keep the
spindle stop button (10) depressed.
3. Release the wire brush with a combina-
tion wrench (not included in the scope
