Front-to-back leveling
NOTE: Check the tire pressures before performing deck
leveling procedures.
1. With the mower installed, place the tractor on a
smooth, level surface such as a concrete floor. Turn the
front wheels straight forward.
2. Disengage the PTO, engage the parking brake, shut
the engine off, and remove the key.
3. Check for bent blades and replace if necessary.
4. Place the mower deck in mid-cut position. Turn the
mower deck pulleys by hand until the right blade (C)
faces front-to-back.
5. Measure the distance from the ground (F) to the
front tip (E) and rear tip (G) of the right blade (C).
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the left blade (D).
The front tips (E) should be even with the rear tips (G)
or within 3 mm (1/8"). If not, proceed with
steps 7 and 8.

nut (A) and turn the rear nut (B) against the bracket.
To lower the front of the mower deck, loosen the rear
nut (B) and tighten the front nut (A).
