SERVICE POINTS

Fuel hose disconnection

1. Disconnect:
• Fuel hose
Refer to "FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM."

Fuel pump module removal

1. Remove:
• Nuts
• Retainer
NOTE:
Loosen the nuts in the sequence shown.
2. Remove:
• Fuel pump module 1
NOTE:
Remove the float 2 at an angle to avoid catch-
ing it on the fuel tank.

Fuel sender disassembly

1. Disconnect:
• Fuel sender coupler
2. Remove:
• Retainer 1
NOTE:
Push the tabs in the direction of the arrows a,
and then slide the retainer 1 in the direction of
arrow b.
3. Remove:
• Fuel sender
NOTE:
Push the tabs a in, and then remove the fuel
sender 2 in the direction of the arrow b.
