SMD 2 / SMD 3
Set to bypass mode
•
Set to bypass mode - as described in 9.3
or 9.5
•
Loosen cover bolts and remove together
with plastic cover
•
Remove or clean existing gears
•
Carefully clean the gear chamber of depo-
sits and particles
SMD2
•
insert new gears in such a way that the
auxiliary holes point in the direction of
low meter housing
one of the gears bears a little metal shim.
With every rotation of the gear an impulse
is generated by the little metal shims
passing below the NAMUR switch.
•
The gear equipped with the little metal
shims must be inserted in such a way that
it sits under the NAMUR switch
SMD3
•
The gear equipped with the little metal
shims must be inserted in such a way that
it sits under the NAMUR switch
Change gasket
•
If necessary, replace the low meter
housing's o-ring seal
Mount cover
•
Place cover on the low meter's housing
•
Insert cover bolts in holes (SMD2 = 4x,
SMD3 = 6x)
•
Tighten cover bolts with a torque wrench
Tightening torque
SMD 2 = 5 Nm
SMD 3 = 8 Nm
Reset to normal operation
•
