Teaching-in

Please read this entire section before starting
the teach-in procedure.
To integrate the floor heating actuator into your system
and enable it to communicate with other devices, you
must teach it in first. The following set-up and control
possibilities are available for the floor heating actuator:
Direct pairing
You can directly connect the floor heating actuator to
the wired wall thermostat (HmIPW-WTH). The configu-
ration is then directly carried via the wall thermostat (see
„6.5.1 Pairing with a Homematic IP Wired Wall Thermostat"
on page 64).
Connecting to the Homematic IP Central Control Unit
CCU3
For local, software-based configuration and control via
PC you have the possibility to connect the floor heating
actuator to the Central Control Unit CCU3 and use it in
extensive programs (see „6.5.3 Connecting to the CCU3"
on page 66).
Connecting to the Homematic IP cloud
For flexible control via the free smartphone app, you can
connect the floor heating actuator to the Homematic IP
cloud (see „6.5.4 Connecting to the Homematic IP cloud
