6.3 At home
6.3.1
Cleaning
• Remove the tubing from the nebuliser and dismantle the nebuliser (see
Chapter 6.2 "Preparation").
Refer to section 6.3.5 for care of the connection tubing.
Recommended method: use warm tap water
• Clean all parts of the nebuliser thoroughly for 5 minutes with warm tap
water (approx. 40°C) and a little dishwashing liquid (dosage according to
the manufacturer's recommendations).
• Then rinse all parts thoroughly under warm running water (approx. 40°C
without dishwashing liquid).
• Drain off well.
You can more quickly remove excess water by shaking the parts.
Possible alternative: wash in the dishwasher
• Clean the nebuliser in your dishwasher (not together with dirty crockery).
• Distribute the nebuliser parts in the cutlery basket.
• Select a program of at least 50°C.
6.3.2
Disinfection
Disinfect the dismantled nebuliser after cleaning.
Recommended method: use the NUK Vaporisator 6 (part no. 500G2000)
or the PETRA disinfector DI 6.00 (part no. 041G6000)
Be sure to follow the instructions for use of the NUK Vaporisator 6 and the
DI 6.00 disinfector. The treatment time is about 15 minutes.
- Do not use Vaporisators unless they are clean and working per-
fectly.
Water residue in the bowl is a sign that the equipment is malfunc-
tioning.
- For information about the quantity of water needed, please read
the instructions for use of the Vaporisator you are using.
- Make sure that the Vaporisator is functioning safely.
