11 – Maintenance and
environmental
protection
Clean the housing and drill chuck with a
damp cloth and then dry well. Do not
use solvents!
Noise reduction
The following factors may cause
excessive noise and can be corrected
by appropriate maintenance:
• dirty, bent or blunt insert tools,
• blocked air vents in the machine
• insecurely fastened machine parts.
CAUTION! Electrical and battery
operated units that no longer
work should not be disposed of in the
household waste! They are to be
collected separately, in accordance
with the 2012/19 EU directive for the
disposal of electrical and
electronic waste, and
sent for proper and
environmentally-friendly
recycling.
