i) Modifying the Stick Assignment of the Transmitter
If you want to fly with the pre-set stick assignments described above, then you can ignore this chapter. However, if you
wish to exchange the control of the pitch and nod function at the transmitter, you have the possibility to carry out
modifications on the transmitter. However, this requires some experience in handling remote control sensors and a bit
of skill.
• First remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries from the
battery compartment (see figure 2).
• Unscrew the four screws by means of a Phillips-tip screw-
driver from the rear panel of the transmitter and lift the
rear panel carefully.
• Now you can remove the circuit board with the trainer
socket from the two retention latches.
• Seen from the rear, loosen the stop spring (1) from the
right control stick aggregate and screw it on mirror-inverted
to the left control stick aggregate (seen from the rear) to
the attachment (2).
• Remove the tension spring (3) of the return lever (4) with
long-nosed pliers and re-attach it mirror-inverted into the
prepared holder (5).
• Finally, the return lever (4) is taken out and also re-attached to the prepared holder (6) mirror-inverted.
• After conversion, you have to detach the two connection
cables (1) of the control potentiometers by soldering them
off and solder them on again in reverse order.
In any case, observe the correct connection se-
quence of the coloured wires.
• Then insert the circuit board with the trainer socket and
screw on the back wall.
• Finally, perform a function control of the entire system.
If you want different function assignments for the control stick than the default factory settings but are not
in a position to carry this out yourself, you can send the transmitter in to our customer service.
Our technicians will convert the remote control to suit your requirements and you will be billed for this work.
