Assembly of Hood
• Press the two plastic legs, one on each side of the hood, into the
two plastic holders on the seat frame, one on each side. Make
sure they snap into place.
• Press stud the hood with the press studs on both sides.
• Open the zipper on the hood collar and pull out the hood apron.
(not Smart)
• Fasten the two plastic hooks (15) on the hood apron (16), to the
metalbar (17) of the seat adjustment lever. (not Smart)
• Models with press studs on the hood apron: Use the two press
studs on the bottom edge of the hood to secure the hood to the

rear of the backrest.
IMPORTANT
• The hood should always be fitted when the vehicle is in use and
the press studs/hooks should always be in place.
Assembly of Apron
(Smart has a combined apron for both the seat-unit and carry-cot)
• Slip the apron over the footrest and pull toward the front of the
hood. Snap the apron onto the four press-studs, two on each side
of the hood.
IMPORTANT
• The hood cannot be folded with the apron attached.
