Charging via USB cable:
To avoid unnecessary strain on the batteries in the trans-
mitter, you may also charge the helicopter's flight battery
using the included USB cable.
Connect the flight battery (1) to the plug connector of the
USB charging cable (2) protected against polarity reversal.
Connect the USB plug (3) of the charging cable to a
computer or notebook.
When charging is completed, the red control LED (4) in the
USB plug lights up and the charging cable can be removed
from the flight battery and computer.
For photo-technical reasons, the USB charging cable is illustrated in the wound-up state. Before first use,
the cable retainer should be opened and the cable unwound.
Place the flight battery on a fire-proof underground when charging and do not charge the battery
unsupervised.
Do not connect the charging cable to a USB hub without a separate mains adapter (e.g. a keyboard USB
port, etc.), because these will not provide sufficient current for charging.
The operating system does not recognize any new hardware after connection, because the USB port is
only used for power supply. Please observe that the USB ports of your computer/notebook are usually only
active when the computer/notebook is switched on. Therefore, we recommend to only connect the charging
cable to a computer/notebook that is switched on.
You may also charge the battery via a mains adapter with USB power output or a socket strip with USB
power output.
