k) Temperature measuring (only VC-5060)
The object to be measured must be potential-free! There may be
no voltage on the sensors!
The temperature measuring range is -50°C to +250°C. Measuring is performed via an
internal (only room temperature when no sensor is connected!) or external K-type
thermal sensor.
Proceed as follows for the measurement:
- On the rotary switch, select the measuring
range TEMP.
- Connect the plug of the thermal sensor
with the multimeter (observe the correct
polarity!). Plus plug (+) into the V socket (3),
minus plug (-) into the TEMP socket (2).
- Connect the measuring prod to the object
to be measured.
- Read off the measuring value on the scale
„TEMP".
- After measuring, remove the sensor from the device.
The temperatures may only be applied at the sensor. The measuring
instrument is only specified (guaranteed precision) for an ambient tem-
perature of 23°C (+/-5°C).
Servicing and cleaning
General Information
To ensure the accuracy of the multimeter over a longer period of time, it should be
calibrated once a year.
Information on changing the battery and fuse appears below.
Periodically check the technical safety of the instrument and
measuring lines, e.g. check for damage to the housing or
squeezing etc.
Never operate the measurement device when it is open. !Danger
to life!

Les câbles de mesure compris dans la livraison sont dotés de protections. Veuillez
retirer les gaines des contacts de sécurité et des pointes de mesure avant d´utiliser
l´appareil.
Après utilisation, enfilez à nouveau celles-ci en guise de protection lors du transport.
L´aiguille du cadran peut être équilibrée au moyen de la vis de réglage. Effectuez cet-
te opération avant chaque mesure afin d´éviter toute erreur de mesure.
