e) Setting the ABS function
With the ABS function you can optimize the braking behaviour of your model car. In doing so,
the braking function is electrically synchronized to avoid a blocking of the wheels. Especially
when driving bends, this is how oversteering or understeering is prevented. Proceed as fol-
lows:
• Turn the transmitter on. In the LCD of the transmitter
the operation mode display appears.
• Now press the set key (see fig. 1, no. 12) eleven times.
On the left side of the display the letters "ABS" ap-
pear under the channel indication "CH2" with the value
that was last set. The default setting is the ABS func-
tion switched off.
• By means of the DT1 button (see fig. 1, no. 3) you can
select one of the following options:
OFF: The ABS function is turned off
FST: Fast frequency of the braking pulses
MID: Medium frequency of the braking pulses
SLW: Slow frequency of the braking pulses
• Five seconds after the last activation of a button, the
value you last set is saved and the display returns to
the operation mode display.
The ABS function mainly is suitable for models with combustion engines and elec-
tric models, in which the speed control is equipped with a braking function. What
settings are best suited for your model can only be definitely found out by practical
driving tests with different settings.
In speed controls with a reverse driving function you should switch the ABS func-
tion off.
