Note:
*
If required, you can connect an additional servo to the receiver output 3, in addition to the
throttle servo in the receiver output 2, and the steering servo in the receiver output 1.
This servo can have a switching function or other functions in the transmitter when you
press the button.
**
In an electric model with a mechanical speed control, the power supply of the receiver
needs a battery box in any case, or a separate receiver rechargeable battery pack.
The power supply mounted to the mechanical speed control must not be used, since to
voltage at the connector is 7.2V (in the 6-cell drive battery) and is too high for the receiver
and the connected servo, the receiver and the servo would be destroyed, and you would
lose your warranty/guarantee.
*** For electric models a separate receiver battery in terminal B is only necessary when the
motor control/flight control system used does not have a BEC (battery eliminating circuit)
or when it has been deactivated for safety reasons or because of an insufficient output.
For further details please refer to the technical documentation of the control system.
b) Mounting the receiver
The mounting of the receiver always depends on the model. Therefore you should follow the
recommendations of the model manufacturer.
Moreover you should always try to mount the receiver in such a way that it is protected from
dust, dirt, humidity and vibration. For fastening it, use double-sided adhesive tape (servo tape)
or elastic bands to keep the receiver wrapped in foam material safely in place.
Keep a distance from the engine, the battery and from metal parts/cables, or the range and
function would be reduced.
Note!
The length of the wire of the antenna (1)
has been precisely calculated.
Therefore it should not be wound up, folded
or cut. This would considerably reduce the
range and is therefore a serious safety risk
for the operation of the model.
Guide the antenna wire out of the model through one of the openings in the cover immediately
behind the receiver. Use an antenna tube, which may be included or can be purchased as an
accessory part.
