• Never pull the expander bands towards your
face, and never wind them around the head,
neck or chest.
• Never use the expander bands for any other
purpose, for example, as a tensioning rope, an
abseiling rope or anything similar.
• When in use, the exerciser should have a filled
height of 20 cm. The filled height of 20 cm
must never be exceeded in any case, since the
ball could slip out of the shell or even burst. The
filled height being too little can also result in the
ball slipping out of the shell.
• During an exercise, do not catch the product
on its edge. There is otherwise a danger of the
fingers getting crushed.
Particular caution –
Danger of injury for children!
• Do not allow children to use this product unsu-
pervised. Show them how to use the exerciser
correctly and continue supervising them. Allow
them to use it only if their mental and physical
development permits it. It is not suitable as a toy.
• Parents or other persons watching over the
child must be aware of their responsibility,
since owing to the natural instinct to play and
the adventurousness of the children, there may
arise situations and behaviour for which this
product is not built.
Danger from wear
• The product may only be used in an impecca-
ble state. Before every use, check the product
for damage or wear. The safety of the product
can only be guaranteed if it is checked regu-
larly for damage and wear. If it is damaged, it
must not be used any more.
• Before every use, check the carabiner hooks
(2a) fixed to the Balance Trainer and the
expander bands (2).
• If there is any discolouring of or porosity on the
carabiner hooks (2a) or the expander bands
(2), they may not be used any more. Replace
them before use.
Avoiding damage to property
• All inflatable articles are sensitive to cold. The-
refore, never unfold and blow up the product
below a temperature of 15 °C.
• Protect the product from direct sunlight. If the air
pressure increases in blazing sunlight, it must be
compensated accordingly by releasing the air.
• Avoid contact with sharp, hot, pointed or
dangerous objects. Ensure that your exercising
area is free of pointed objects.
• Insert only suitable air pump adapters into the
valve. Otherwise, the valve could get damaged.
• Do not fill too tight, since otherwise, there is a
danger of the weld seams coming apart. Close
the valve properly after blowing.
• Do not use either a compressor or a com-
pressed air cylinder for inflating the product.
This can result in damage to the product.
Inflating
IMPORTANT:
• Only adults should do the inflating.
• Do not inflate the product in excess of the
specified filling height.
• Only air may be used as the medium to be
filled.
• Do not inflate by blowing with the mouth as
that can lead to dizziness.
To inflate the product, use commercial foot-
pumps or double-stroke piston pumps with the
corresponding attachments. You can also use the
accompanying air pump (3).
1. Insert the air pump (3) in the opening (1a) of
the product (Fig. B).
2. Inflate it till it has reached the filling height of
approx. 20 cm.
3. Close the product with a stopper plug (4)
(Fig. C).
Note: The product is correctly filled when it
feels solid to touch, but is still a little springy (not
hard).
Tip: This is how to check the required
filling height of 20 cm:
1. Mark a height of 20 cm from the floor on a wall.
2. Place the inflated product against the wall.
3. Put a water level at the highest point of the
product, and check against the wall marking
whether the ball has a diameter of 20 cm.
Deflating
Remove the stopper plug and allow the air to
escape slowly.
