Network settings
The device provides two network interfaces (Network A and Network B). The network
interfaces allow you to integrate a device into up to two separate networks.
Configuring the network interfaces
To connect the device to a local network, you need to configure the network set-
tings.
NOTE:
By default, the following settings are preselected:
IP address of Network interface A:

How to configure the settings of a network interface:
IMPORTANT:
The operation of both network interfaces within one subnet is not
permitted.
NOTE:
The Link Local address space 169.254.0.0/16 iis reserved for internal com-
munication between devices according to RFC 3330. It is not possible to assign an
IP address of this address space!

Switch off network interface.
Static:
A static IP address is assigned.
Obtain IP address from a DHCP server.
DHCP:
Enter the IP address of the interface - only if the operating
mode Static is selected.
Enter the network netmask - only if the operating mode Static
is selected.
