General
The service manual can be found in the DownloadCenter under "downloadcenter.fro-
nius.com."
Each chapter of the service manual covers a different topic. Use each chapter as an inde-
pendent source of information. The following provides a brief description of each chapter:
WARNING! Work performed incorrectly can cause serious injury and damage. All
activities described in the service manual must only be carried out by a trained
Fronius service technician. Please note the information in the "Safety Rules"
chapter in your inverter operating instructions.
WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Before opening the device
-
Set power switch to - O -
-
Disconnect the device from the grid
-
Attach a clear warning sign advising others not to switch the power source
back on
-
Use a suitable measuring tool to ensure that electrically charged components
(e.g. capacitors) are discharged.
WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. If the device is briefly switched on with
an open housing for test purposes,
-
do not touch the components inside the housing
-
touch them only with suitable measuring or test probes
WARNING! An inadequate grounding conductor connection can cause serious
injuries to persons and damage to (or loss of) property. The housing screws pro-
vide an adequate grounding conductor connection for the housing ground and
should not under any circumstances be replaced by other screws that do not pro-
vide a proper grounding conductor connection.
Danger of damage to electrical components from electrical discharge. Suitable
measures should be taken to protect against ESD when replacing and install-
ing components.
