9. Maintenance
All technical equipment requires regular mainte-
nance. According to DIN 1988, maintenance must
be carried out by expert technical staff who also re-
places the parts subject to wear and tear. We there-
fore recommend closing a maintenance contract.
Maintenance must be carried out once a year, or
twice a year for communal installations. It is to be
carried out by the installer or manufacturer.
10. Operator's duties
You have acquired a durable product that is easy to
maintain. However, every technical system requires
servicing/maintenance work on a regular basis, in
order to ensure proper functioning.
A prerequisite for the functioning and warranty is
filter backwashing and a visual inspection for leak
tightness by the operator. In compliance with DIN
806-5, filter backwashing is required on a regular
basis, depending on the operating conditions, but
at least every 2 months.
Another prerequisite for functioning and warranty
is the replacement of the wear parts at the prescri-
bed maintenance intervals.
