TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
DANGER OF DAMAGE AND ACCIDENTS!
• The screws and nuts installed on the bicycle must be checked for tight fit at regular
intervals (see maintenance plan) and may need to be tightened or re-tightened to the
proper strength. Only this can ensure that the bicycle permanently complies with the
DANGER
safety-technical requirements and works properly.
• If screw and nuts are tightened too far, they may break.
• If parts are marked with torque specifications, these must be complied with.
• The torque specifications for other screw connections do not apply to the adjustment
screws at the gearshift and brake components.
The torque wrench permits precise compliance with the tightening torques.
