Sequence of the laying cycle
In principle, the driver of the carrier vehicle must have the entire working area of the carrier and
attachment in his field of vision at all times and ensure that neither persons nor objects are in the
danger zone.
Lift the HVZ-ECO using the carrier until the tongs are hanging freely.
•
Perform the HVZ-ECO reset procedure:
•
Actuate the hydraulic control lever of the carrier (e.g. excavator) to "Position 1" (see Fig. 2) and hold it
in this position until the ADV springs are completely visible (see Fig. 1).
•
Always ensure that nobody is standing in the danger zone, especially not in the swivel range of the
secondary clamping jaws, and could be endangered or even injured.
Risk of accident!

Swivel the clamp over the stone layer to be gripped
•
•
Use the hydraulic rotary head to turn the clamp so that it can be lowered over the stone layer to be
gripped.
Swivel the clamp so that the steel plates of the main clamping jaw on the contact side touch the stones
•
as far as possible.Continue to swivel so that the clamp is aligned approximately centrally to the stone
layer to be gripped in the direction of the secondary clamping.
•
Lower the clamp until the support plates of the clamp touch the stone surfaces. Do not lower any
further after this! The traverse must never touch the HVZ-ECO attachment and pressure must therefore
be exerted on the clamp from above (by the boom of the carrier device).
