Listening to the radio - Preset memory function
M@ Programming radio stations
For example to enter a-station at 98.00MHz (FM) into number 3
in the Preset Memory.
1. Select the FM band using the SOURCE button.

2. Press the TUNING/PRESET button and the
TUNING indicator will light up.

3. Use the TUNING/PRESET dial to change the
frequency.

@ Turn the TUNING/PRESET dial once clockwise (or counter-
clockwise) for more than 0.5 second, and the frequency will
automatically begin to increase (or decrease) until a station
is found.
4. Press the MEMORY button.

The memory indicator and the PRESET indicator will light up.
5. Use the TUNING/PRESET dial to select the
preset number to store.

6. Press the memory button to store the fre-
quency into the selected preset.
Note:
@ AM stations can be stored in the memory using the same
precedure.
@ Up to 30 FM, AM stations can be stored in the preset mem-
ory in total.
H@ Selection preset station
Using remote control:
1. Select the FM or AM band.
The input selector automatically switch to TUNER.
2. Use the PRESET <, » button to select the
preset station number.

Using the main unit:
1.Select the FM or AM band using the
SOURCE button.

2. Press the TUNING/PRESET button and the
PRESET indicator will light up. ,

3. Use the TUNING/PRESET dial to select the
preset station number.
Note:
@ If the input selector is changed while a CD is being played,
the CD player will pause for approximately one minute.
@ If the input selector is changed while the tape deck is in
recording mode, the recording operation will pause.
M@ Cancelling preset stations

Select the preset station as explained in the previous section.
Press and hoid the MEMORY button and within a second of
doing this, press the AUTO/MONO button.
@ '—-'will be shown on the MEMORY channel display.
Cancelling all of the preset stations
While holding down the MEMORY button, press the TUNING/
PRESET button to cancel all of the preset stations. Press the
POWER button after all of the lights on the display have lit up.
