The IP address and network name are configured using the WebServer or IS1+ Detect
Software and are stored in the base flash memory with configuration and parameter
data. This preserves the selection of the communication protocol, all addresses,
configuration data and parameter data for a CPU replacement.

Maintenance, Overhaul, Repair
Comply with the applicable national standards and regulations in the country of use, e.g.
IEC/EN 60079-14, IEC/EN 60079-17, IEC/EN 60079-19.
8.1
Maintenance
Check the following points in addition to the national regulations:
• whether the device enclosure and/or protective enclosure have cracks or other visible
signs of damage
• compliance with the permitted temperatures,
• secure fit of the fasteners.
8.2
Overhaul
The device does not require regular maintenance.
A base fault (e.g. a defective flash memory) is detected and reported via the CPU
(blue LED, diagnostic telegram = requires maintenance).

Repair
Perform repairs to the device only using original spare parts and after consulting with
R. STAHL.

Returning the device
Only return or package the devices after consulting R. STAHL! Contact the responsible
representative from R. STAHL.
R. STAHL's customer service is available to handle returns if repair or service is required.

Under "Support" > "RMA form", select "Request RMA slip".
Fill out the form and send it.
Confirmation will be sent. R. STAHL's customer service will contact you.
You will receive an RMA slip after speaking with customer service.
Send the device along with the RMA slip in the packaging to
R. STAHL Schaltgeräte GmbH (refer to Section 1.1 for the address).
