Setting the running time (skimmer unit)
Provided all requirements for proper operation are met, the
system has a separation capacity of 6-8 L grease or oil per
full hour of operation. In normal operation, a setting of 30
minute alternating running time and idle time provides partic-
ularly efficient operation.
Grease is extracted via the skimmer unit (skimmer hose
and scraper). In order to avoid water being discharged to
the grease drum and unnecessary operation of the skimmer
unit, the running time of the skimmer unit must be set in line
with kitchen operating times. Depending on the length of the
wastewater pipes and dishwasher running times, the skim-
mer must continue to run for a certain time ("post run time")
after the kitchen has been closed.
The running time is set using a timer integrated in the control
unit.
The smallest cycle is 15 minutes. These periods can be
set as an operating period or an idle period. The (manual)
button on the control unit is used to switch the system to
manual operation and to operate the skimmer unit inde-
pendently of the timer settings.
