•
Remove all provided documents and accessories from the fire-
place.
•
Please carefully read the operation instructions. Complete the
guarantee card attached to the operation set and send it back to
the company Rüegg.
•
First commissioning of your fireplace should be performed 4
weeks upon completion of the facing at the earliest allowing all
facing components to dry completely.
•
The first fire should be kept very small within the first hour, then
the amount of wood fed into the fireplace may be increased
slowly. The maximum amount of wood fed into the fireplace per
hour may also not be exceeded at a later point in time.
•
During the first couple of fires of your installation, some un-
pleasant odours may appear caused by the evaporation of
some binding agents in the paint.
•
Please open all windows near to the fireplace to aerate the
room!
1. Pull out handle of the combustion air shutter completely (style
appliances) or turn it to the very right.
2. Completely open throttle valve, if any.
3. Pile up a permissible amount of firewood with firing module.
Place firing module composing of 4-6 dry, fine pieces of wood
(fir wood) and 1-2 firelighters, e.g. wax-soaked wood wool, on
the firewood stack. (burning down from top to bottom!)
4. Light up firelighter. Close door.
5. After approx. 5 min., close combustion air shutter by 50% (push
handle or turn it to the left).
6. After approx. 5 min., close throttle valve, if any, by 50% (turn
handle to the left).
