Sensor variables
The sensor can detect the following sensor variables:
– Movement.
– Human presence.
– Light level.
Operating principle
The human presence detector is equipped with pyro
sensors. The pyro sensors detect the invisible heat emitted
by moving objects (e.g. people, animals etc.).
The human presence detector features an additional pre-
sence detection capability that provides greater sensitivity
for detecting smaller-type movements too. The heat radia-
tion measured in this way is converted electronically into a
signal and relayed on via the KNX bus. Heat is not detected
through obstacles (such as walls or panes of glass).
