4.4 F/B function (Counting direction – input)
The measuring system is equipped device specific with an F/B input on the device
connector. Depending on the measuring system option, the F/B function can be
triggered with either a high or a low level.
Option "F/B high-active":
By connecting the external input with supply voltage (US), the currently set counting
direction is inverted. This also changes the sign of the measuring system velocity.
Option "F/B low-active":
By connecting the external input with ground (GND), the currently set counting
direction is inverted. This also changes the sign of the measuring system velocity.

4.5 Switching output speed

The measuring system is equipped with a device specific switching output for
overspeed at the device connector. The switching threshold of the output is set via the
"Overspeed" parameter, see chapter: 5.1.3. The output is low-active and drops from
high to low level when the set speed is exceeded, see also chapter: 5.2.6 "Signal
level".
