9.4.1.2 Adjusting the door handle
If, after closing, the door handle is not properly straight, it can be adjusted.
When adjusting the door handle, please proceed as follows:
Ø
Slightly loosen the 2 nuts of the locking block. This locking block is located on the left inside of the fire chamber
(see appendix 2, fig. 6).
Ø
Slightly raise or lower the block to obtain the correct position for the door handle.
Ø
Retighten the two nuts of the locking block.
Ø
Repeat these steps until the door handle is properly straight.
Is the door not properly sealed?
Ø
Replace the insulating rope (see appendix 2, fig. 7 and 5).
When replacing the insulating rope, please proceed as follows:
Ø
Open the door.
Ø
Remove the insulating rope and sealant from the gutter.
Ø
Apply a new layer of high temperature resistant sealant in the gutter that contained the insulating rope.
Ø
Place the new insulating rope in the gutter. Do this loosely, do not pull the insulating rope too tight.
Ø
Insert both ends of the insulating rope in the special sleeve.
The insulating rope, sleeve and sealant are available from your supplier.
Make sure the sleeve is placed at the bottom side of the glass pane.
