Temperature range and relative humidity

Temperature in the electrical operating area during installation and in
operation:
T = –20 °C to +50 °C

Only devices with level of performance 350 kVA: From T = +45 °C: Devices

reduce their output independently.
Maximum relative humidity:
95% (non-condensing)


Ventilation

Material damage due to blocked ventilation
If foreign objects are blocking the ventilation channels, this can cause
both material damage and loss of income.
Keep central inverters, floors and air ducts free of foreign objects.

Keep air inlets and outlets in the central inverter and the operating area

free of foreign objects.
Material damage due to inadequate ventilation
If individual components in the device are not cooled sufficiently due to
insufficient ventilation or blocked air passageways, these components may
age prematurely. The components may be irreparably damaged. Air can
only circulate if all protective covers are fitted and the device is closed.
 Fit all protective covers
 Only operate the device when it is in its closed state
 Provide sufficient ventilation in the operating area
Please note the following here:
Heat input of the device: The efficiency characteristic curve (see the

device's technical datasheet) shows how high the heat input of the device
is at the individual operating points. Example: At an output of 300 kVA and
an efficiency of 98%, there is a heat loss of 2%, which corresponds to
6 kW. The fans also consume approx. 1 kW of power.
The cooler the environment around the central inverter, the higher its

efficiency and the longer its service life.
