factor cos φ.

Please note the following here:
In accordance with DIN 40110-1, cos φ is termed the efficiency factor.

As cos φ is also frequently termed the power factor in practice, we will

follow this convention here.

Signal input: External monitoring equipment

If there is an external switching signal (230 V
10 (Fuse board with test terminal block, p. 26) and a switch-off command is
issued to the central inverter as a result, the central inverter disconnects
itself immediately from the grid.
Please note the following here:
The auxiliary power supply is still connected.

Both signal inputs (X21.9 and X21.10) are not fail-safe.

Assign terminals X21.9/10 in the following cases:
An external grid monitoring unit (section fuse) should disconnect the

central inverter from the grid.
 The central inverter should be disconnected from the grid by remote
signal.
Please note the following here:
 Rapid disconnection from the grid is not the same as de-energisation.
 The auxiliary power supply is still connected.
 If the medium-voltage switching device is connected by an external grid
monitoring unit (section fuse), the section fuse must shut the central
inverter down in advance.
 Please discuss the design of the rapid grid disconnection system with the
responsible energy supply company (ESC).
After switching off the input signal, the central inverter switches itself

back on.
