Changing and setting the Cutting Discs
Warning! Pull the power plug before undertaking any work on the machine!
To change the cutting discs or to adjust the cutting width proceed as follows:
Remove the locking screw (4) of the depth stop (6) and fold the depth stop away
from the machine.
Press the shaft lock button (10) and use the included face spanner (15) to remove
the clamping flange (18). Please keep in mind these are left hand threads! You
can now remove the the cutting discs and flanges from the shaft one after
another.
Clean all discs and flanges carefully before reassembly. All parts must be clean
and especially free from lubricants.
First slide the drive flange (21) onto the shaft. Make sure the inside profile of the
flange engages with the outside profile of the shaft. After that follow the chaft
sleeve (22), the spacers (20) and the cutting discs (7). The direction arrows on
the cutting discs must correspond with the arrow on the housing. Secure
everything with the clamping flange (18). Tighten the clamping flange with the
included face spanner (15) hand tight. Please keep in mind these are left hand
threads!
At last, reattach the depth stop with the locking screw.
You can set cutting widths of approximately 14, 19 and 29 mm by switching the
spacers.
