To operate this product safely and correctly, the
following accessories, i .e . tools and saw blades,
are necessary:
Suitable saw blade

If you are not certain, ask a qualified specialist
and get advice from your trusted dealer .
NOTE
This instruction manual contains

saw blades and their uses . The saw blades
depicted are not necessarily included in
the shipment, but are meant to indicate
additional possibilities for using this
product .
˜ Operation
˜ Adjusting the base plate

Always switch the product off,
disconnect it from the mains and let the
product cool down before making any
adjustments!

Saw blades can be sharp and become
hot during use . Always wear protective
gloves when handling saw blades .

Remove the saw blade from the product

before adjusting the base plate 5
(see "Inserting/removing the saw blade") .
Do not use the product without having

inserted the base plate 5 .
To adapt to the workpiece, the base plate 5 can
be adjusted and swivelled to different positions .
Unlock the base plate 5 : Turn the locking

lever (base plate) 1 in a counter-clockwise
direction .
Adjust the desired position of the base plate

5 by pushing it in or pulling it out .
Lock the base plate 5 : Turn the locking lever
¾
(base plate) 1 in a clockwise direction until
it locks into place .
˜ Turning the rear handle
(Fig . C)
If necessary, the rear handle 9 can be rotated
90° to the right or left to improve your working
position .
Press the lock button (handle) 8 .

Turn the rear handle 9 to the right or left .

Release the lock button (handle) 8 .

Engage the rear handle 9 at one of the
