Please note the following safety advice to avoid malfunction, damage
and physical injury:
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on oper-
ating the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to
a third party!
Do not leave packaging materials in the range of children, they may be-
come dangerous toys.
Keep the unit out of the range of children; it contains small parts which
might be swallowed.
Batteries must not be recharged, disassembled, and short circuited or
burned.
If you do not intend to use the unit for extended amounts of time, remove
the batteries. Spend batteries should also be removed immediately.
Use the unit only indoors or in places protected from moisture.
Do not expose the unit to excessive temperatures, strong vibration or
excessive humidity.
Avoid exposing the unit to mechanical stress.
Do not use abrasives or aggressive chemicals to clean the unit. Use a
moist cloth at the utmost. If the LC-Display discolours under pressure, this
is no reason for concern. The discoloration will disappear after some time.
Do not disassemble the unit; it does not contain parts serviceable by you.
