6.1

Important information

ESD handling instructions can be found in
EDIS and all spare parts are in the spare parts
list 1 689 973 315.

When repairing internal components, the system
tester must be placed on a clean tray with the dis-
play facing downwards. Always use soft and clean
support pads to prevent the display being scratched.
Incorrect handling of circuit boards can cause dam-
age to components with electrostatic risks. Follow
the ESD handling instructions and dismantle compo-
nents carefully.

Replace the Tablet PC

The Tablet PC is delivered as a spare part or ex-
change part without batterys. Test before an ex-
change of the Tablet PC the batterys and pay atten-
tion to:

exchange incorrect batterys
$
and not to send back the batterys, but to reuse
this.
6.3

Power supply unit

Mains cable
1. Disconnect the power supply unit from the system
tester and the power.
2. Disconnect the mains cable at the power supply unit.
3. Check the mains cable for continuity.
 Continuity test failed: Replace the mains cable.
 Continuity test passed: Test the power supply
unit.
Power supply unit
1. Connect the mains cable to the power supply unit.
2. Connect the mains cable to the mains supply.
3. Check the power supply unit voltage at the jack plug.
 Voltage value outside tolerance: Replace the pow-
er pack.

Battery

i
Batteries are available separately as a spare part and
can be applied in both insertions.
Test charge state
1. Start "Batterie Informations & Diagnose Tool".
2. Read off charge state of the batteries.
3. Press the button on the back of the tablet PC.
