STARTUP
•
Charge battery before using for the first time. A new battery does not
reach its full capacity until having been charged fully for a few times.
•
Do not charge the battery after only a short operating period or as a
precautionary measure but only after the rotational speed of the
machine has fallen considerably (indication that the battery has run
down).
•
IMPORTANT! Only use the provided battery charger for charging the
device!
•
Place the battery charger's plug in the machine's charging socket and
connect the charger to a mains socket. The charging indicator lamp
lights up. The battery is fully charged after about 3 hours (charging
indicator lamp gets darker and/or goes out). Battery, machine and
charger warm up slightly during charging. This is normal.
•
Disconnect the charger from the mains socket and then the cordless
powerdriver upon completion of charging.
OPERATION
1. Clamping bit:
•
Place a bit extension in the bit holder and then into the extension of
the required tool.Push the bit extension into the bit holder of the
machine as far as it will go. A hexagonal-square adapter is provided
for using socket wrenches.
2. Working:
•
Choose the required rotational direction by pressing the toggle switch
forward (anti-clockwise) or back (clockwise). The machine switches off
when the switch is released.
•
Important: Never use the machine while the battery charger is still
connected! This could result in damage to the battery and charger.
3. Charging batteries
•
If the rotational speed of the machine drops significantly after a while,
switch the machine off and recharge the battery fully (see "Startup").
