To display temperature values via a moving coil device the preci-
sion resistor is located in a resistance bridge circuit.
The Temperature Indicator is circuited into the bridge diagonal.

When the bridge circuit is balanced, no current flows through
the device and it displays 0 °C.
A temperature change unbalances the bridge circuit, and the
voltage across the display device changes and thus displays the
modified temperature.
Important
Use only a stabilized voltage source as power supply.
Make sure that the polarity of the connection is correct. Polarity
is indicated on the underside of the device next to the connec-
ting lugs.
Incorrect polarity may damage the Temperature Indicator.
