Before first Use
Remove all packing parts from the unit and the containers. Dispose of
packaging material not needed or save not accessible for children.
There is a risk of suffocation!
Check the unit for possible transport damages. Clean the unit as
described in chapter "Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing" before using
for the first time.
Operation
We recommend using quality vegetable oil that is heat resistant and
suitable for frying. If you use firm cooking fat, it is essential to cut it into
small pieces so the fat can melt easier. Put the pieces directly into the
container/s and not into the frying basket. If the blocs are put into the
basket, there will be no heat transmission. Never switch on the fryer
without cooking oil/fat.
Please note: The deep fat fryer can only be operated when the
heating/control unit has been properly installed.
1. Fill the fryer at least up to the MIN marking but not higher than up to
the MAX marking that is stamped inside the oil container (3). This is
equal to 3.5 l. Do not exceed the MAX marking; otherwise boiling oil
may cause burns.
2. Remove the power cord from the power cord compartment and plug
the power plug into a socket earthed according to regulations.
3. Close the fryer lid (5) while heating up.
4. Turn the thermostat controller (1) clockwise in order to switch on
the deep fryer and to select the desired temperature. The control
light turns on and indicates that the unit is connected to the power
mains. The desired temperature is achieved when the lamp turns
off. When the temperature decreases, the thermostat automatically
switches on until the set temperature is reached.
5. Completely pull back the handle of the frying basket (6) until it locks
securely in place. Now fill the frying goods in the frying basket (6).
The frying goods preferably should be free from water.
6. Remove the lid (5) from the fryer and carefully put the frying basket
into the container. Pay attention, hot oil can spatter. If the oil is
