Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Do not operate this pump while people are standing in the pond or in
the swimming pool.
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.
Protect all electric connection from water. In areas exposed to a risk of
flooding install the connectors in flood-safe areas.
Do not operate the pump if the power cord or the plug is damaged.
Do not replace the power cord and do not repair the cord. It is not allowed to
modify the power cord by installing a switch or similar.
Never use the pump to pump aggressive or flammable chemicals or water
containing abrasive substances.
Protect the pump from freezing.
Do not allow the pump to run dry. The pump has to be completely immersed
into water.
Take measures to keep children away from the unit.
Do not carry the pump by the power cord.
Turn the pump off immediately if any malfunctions occur on the power cord,
the plug, the switch, fuses smoke or the smell of burning insulation. Also turn
off the pump if you hear unusual sounds.
When using extension cable, make sure that plug and coupling are splash
water-safe.
Only use extension cables which are approved for outdoor operation. Use
approvable extension cable with a cable quality of H07 RN-F; 3-1.5 mm2. Ask
your electrician.
Should the unit become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a
professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disassemble
the unit or try repairing it yourself.
