Inserting the Milling Cutter

Make sure the router is switched off and unplugged before inserting the milling
cutter.
1. Make sure that the collet of the
milling cutter is of the same size.
The machine is supplied with col-
lets for 6 and 8 mm tool shafts.
2. Press the spindle lock (5) and keep
it pressed. Turn the collet nut (6)
until it drops into the lock. The
milling cutter shank must be in-
serted at least 20 mm into the
collet.
3. Tighten the collet nut with the
included spanner.
Never tighten the collet nut with the spanner without inserting a milling
cutter.
4. Run the router up to full no load speed before using and watch out for
vibration or wobbling that could indicate unbalance.

Setting the Milling Depth with Scale Cutting Depth

1. Place the router onto the work-piece.
2. Loosen the locking bolt depth stop (12) and tilt the clamping lever (2).
3. Push the machine downwards until the milling cutter touches the surface
of the work piece.
4. Tighten the clamping lever (2). Set the milling depth with the scale cutting
depth (11) and tighten the locking bolt depth stop (12) hand screw.
