Please note the following safety notes and also the included
General Safety Notes to avoid malfunction, damage or physical
injury:
Make sure the operating voltage stated on the type label corresponds to
the power mains available in your area.
Check the router and the electrical connections for any damage and do
not use the tool if the router or the cable is damage.
Use the router and the included attachments according to this manual and
only for the intended purpose.
Before starting up, make sure the milling cutter is firmly positioned and
secured into the collets. Make sure that no keys and adjusting tools are
inserted in the machine.
Make sure the router is switched off before plugging in.
Do not operate the router if your ability to react is affected by alcohol
consumption, medication, drugs, illness and fatigue.
Clamp the work piece with chuck or a vice to avoid slipping. When
operating the machine always hold the router firmly with both hands. Al-
ways provide for a secure footing when working.
Milling must always be carried out against the direction of rotation of the
milling cutter.
The milling cutter must be running at full speed before lowering into the
work piece.
Beware of the reaction torque of the machine, particularly if the milling
cutter becomes jammed in the work piece.
On completion of work, allow the machine to slide back to its initial position
by releasing the retaining lever.
Caution: Allow for run down time of the cutter after turning the router off.
Wait for the machine to come to a complete stop before removing from the
work piece.
Never attempt to slow the router down with your hands or using pressure.
Do not touch the cutter immediately after operation; it may be extremely
hot and could burn you.
