g) Display

• The LED display (7) switches off after a few seconds if no button has been pushed.
• To reactivate it, push any button.

h) Master slave operation

In this operating mode, a master device controls all slave devices connected by DMX synchronously.
• Set the desired operating mode at the master device as described in "Setting of the operating mode".
• Set the DMC starting address at all connected slave devices to A001.

Only one device in the master-slave chain must be operated as master device. All other devices must be
set as slave devices (set DMX starting address to A001).
If you connect the pedal switch to the master device, you can operate the entire master-slave chain with
the pedal switch as described in "Operation by pedal switch".

13. Handling

• Never connect the mains plug to a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a cold to a warm
environment. The resulting condensation may destroy the device. Allow the device to reach room temperature
before connecting it. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Never pull the mains plug from the mains socket by the cable. Only pull it from the mains socket by the intended grip
areas.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you are not using the device for an extended period of time.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket during thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
• Do not cover the device to ensure sufficient ventilation. Air circulation also must not be impaired by any objects like
magazines, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
