3. Remove the saw chain (2) and the
blade bar (1).
4. Turn the blade bar (1) once along its
horizontal axis.
5. Place the saw chain (2) into the blade
groove. Place the saw chain (2) into
the chain sprocket (25).
6. Place the blade bar (1) and saw chain
(2) onto the coach screw (24). When
the lug to the right of the coach screw
sits in the slotted recess on the blade,
the blade is placed correctly. It is nor-
mal for the saw chain (2) to sag.
7. Put the chain wheel cover (5) on. Only
lightly tighten the wing nut (3) of the
chain wheel cover as the saw chain
must still be tensioned.
8. Tension the saw chain (2) by turning
the ring (4) of the chain tensioning
. Then firmly tighten the chain
system
wheel cover wing nut (3).
When the blade bar is turned (1),
the running direction is inverted
compared to the pictogram.
Storage
Perform cleaning and maintenance
work before storage.
• Store the device with the supplied blade
encasing (

location and out of reach of children.
Store the appliance in a horizontal posi-
tion or secured against toppling over.
Empty the oil tank if it will not be used
for a prolonged period of time (6-8
weeks).
Clean the device and accessories ca-

Do not wrap the device in plastic bags
as moisture and mildew may form.
Transport
Never transport your appli-
ance while the appliance is
turned on! Risk of injury!

Protection
Remove the batteries from the device and
recycle the device, battery, accessories
and packaging in an environmentally-
friendly manner.
Do not dispose of waste oil in the sewer or
your drain system. Dispose of waste oil in
an environmentally friendly way - take it to
your local recycling centre.
Electrical machines do not belong in
domestic waste.
In accordance with the EU directive
2012/19/EU on waste electrical and elec-
tronic equipment and its implementation
in national law, used electrical devices
must be collected separately for disposal
and recycled in an environmentally sound
manner.
Alternative to returning the device:
If not sending back the electrical device,
its owner is instead obliged to cooperate
with its proper recycling in the event of a
change in ownership. The old device can
be handed over to a collection facility
which will dispose of it in compliance with
