6. USB-ScanSoft software

6.3.7 Start recording

After the instruments have been selected and the instrument settings have been made,
the measurement can be started.

This function is only active when data logging is not in progress.
⇒
The active CPT2500 are selected in the register "Device".

By left-clicking on the [Start recording] icon or pressing the [F9] key, the parameters
are checked and the user is prompted to enter the storage location.
All valid directories of the file system of the
computer used are listed.
1. Select the desired storage location.
2. Under "Comment for current
logging directory" enter any text that
describes the measurement in more
detail.
3. Under "Directory", an already-
existing folder name must be entered,
in which the program will store the
data from the data logging.
4. Confirm entries with [OK]

6.3.8 Stop recording

By right-clicking / left-clicking on the [Stop] symbol or pressing the [F9] key, the running
data logging will be stopped.

This function is only active during data logging.
If stop conditions were previously set, data logging stops automatically when the

conditions are reached.
With the stop condition "manual", the data logging must always be finished using

this menu item.
