Installation

Install the device carefully and only in accordance with the safety notes
(see "Safety" chapter).
▶
The installation steps stated below must be carried out very precisely.
Operation under difficult conditions, e.g. on ships or in strong sunlight, requires additional
measures to be taken for correct installation, depending on the operating location.
Further information and instructions on this can be obtained on request from your
designated sales contact.
DANGER! Explosion hazard due to intense heating inside the enclosure!
Non-compliance results in severe or fatal injuries.

Select suitable conductors that do not exceed the permissible heating temperature
within the enclosure.
▶
Ensure that the specified cross sections are used.
▶
Attach the core end sleeves properly.

▶
Documentation and data sheets for the installed devices (e.g. for specifications with

6.2.1 Opening and closing the Enclosure Cover
Opening the enclosure cover
WARNING! Explosion hazard due to damaged seal!
Non-compliance can result in severe or fatal injuries.

Ensure that seals and seal systems are clean and undamaged.
Without hinge:
▶
Loosen the (captive) screws on the enclosure cover.
▶
Carefully open or remove the enclosure cover.
▶
Set the enclosure cover down carefully with the sealing surfaces facing upwards.
With hinge:
▶
Loosen the cam locks/(captive) screws on the enclosure cover.
▶
Raise the enclosure cover and tilt it over the hinge.
