4.6. Functional description of the
R-NET control unit for electronic
adjustment options (optional)
Using for the first time
Sit on the seat of your Bischoff & Bischoff wheelchair and place your
feet on the footplates.
Make sure that you are sitting as far back in the seat as possible. Make
sure that loose clothing such as, for example, scarves, shirts, etc. do not
hang out of the wheelchair to the side where they could get caught in
the wheels. Switch your wheelchair on using the on/off switch (Fig.
27). By pressing the Mode button (Fig. 40/41) you can now activate

The user can activate the adjustment functions with the Mode button.
The lamps for the relevant LED for an adjustment option (left footrest,
right footrest, seat, backrest) show which adjustment function is active
at that time.
Adjustment functions
Once the adjustment functions have been activated using the Mode
button, move the joystick (Fig. 39) left or right, to select between the
possible adjustment functions. These are shown through the LEDs on
the display panel (Fig. 42).
By deflecting the joystick forwards or backwards, you can control the
relevant adjustment direction for the individual channels. In order to
return to drive mode, press the Mode button again or one of the but-
tons for speed level adjustment.
4.7. Functional description of the
R-NET attendant control unit
As an option, an attendant control unit is available so that an atten-
dant is able to control the wheelchair.
